My Background
I was raised in a world of art. Music, literature, dance, drama, and painting filled my childhood. My mother always had good toys and she shared. While music was my first love, eventually my fascination with people took pride of place. Watching the magic of emotions as they play across a face has captivated me my whole life. Photographs can preserve the image but a portrait displays so much more. It's no wonder my fingers itch to reproduce what I see.
